A specialized medical team in Riyadh has completed the successful separation of conjoined twins from Fiji, Jasepeli and Desicia. The complex procedure, which lasted nearly 13 hours, took place at the King Abdullah Specialized Children's Hospital. Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, who led the surgical team, confirmed the operation was divided into nine distinct stages. A multidisciplinary group of 34 professionals, including pediatric surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff, collaborated to ensure the success of the intervention. This achievement marks another milestone for the Saudi Conjoined Twins Program, which operates under the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs. The twins are currently recovering following the extensive surgical effort.
