Authorities in Pattaya apprehended a 40-year-old South Korean man after receiving reports of a woman being held against her will. The incident came to light on the night of October 10 when a witness alerted Chon Buri immigration officials that a 44-year-old Thai woman was being confined by the suspect in a room located in the Nong Prue subdistrict. Upon arrival, police and immigration officers successfully located the individual, identified as Younjin, and took him into custody. Subsequent investigations revealed that the man had exceeded his authorized stay in Thailand by 274 days.
