Pakistani security personnel conducted an intelligence-led mission in the Dalbandin region of Chagai, Balochistan, resulting in the deaths of two militants. According to official reports from state media, the operation successfully targeted locations used by these individuals. Authorities stated that the deceased were responsible for intimidating travelers on the Quetta–Taftan Highway and creating instability within the local community. This action follows a separate incident on October 15, where military forces reported the neutralization of five militants in the Washuk district. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) wing confirmed that the previous operation successfully dismantled a militant stronghold, characterizing those individuals as being linked to foreign-sponsored elements. These recent security measures reflect ongoing efforts by the state to address militant activity and maintain order across the Balochistan province.
