A senior assistant interchange supervisor at Clementi Bus Interchange, Lim Poh Boon, was recently honored with an Outstanding Award at the Transport Gold Awards. The recognition follows his successful efforts to assist an 86-year-old passenger who had misplaced a wallet containing over S$3,000 in cash, bank cards, and personal identification on a bus in December 2025. Recognizing the man's distress, Lim utilized concession card data and coordinated with bus captains to locate the vehicle and retrieve the missing items. The 54-year-old supervisor, who noted that he had previously experienced the loss of his own wallet, stated that he simply acted to help a passenger in need. His commitment to service and quick response were highlighted as the primary reasons for his recent commendation by the transport authorities.
