A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has informed the Supreme Court of India regarding its ongoing probe into the misappropriation of donations at the Ram temple in Ayodhya. According to a status report submitted on September 16 to a bench led by Chief Justice Surya Kant, investigators identified 105 separate incidents of unauthorized cash removal captured by surveillance equipment. This figure represents an increase from the 70 cases previously noted in an earlier interim report. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh administration, stated that the inquiry is nearing completion. Authorities expect to submit a formal chargesheet by the end of the week. The court was further informed that investigators have successfully identified several suspects involved in these activities.
