The primary objective of this diplomatic mission is the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding regarding labor cooperation and a specific agreement concerning the employment of Sri Lankan nationals within Thailand. During his stay, Minister Herath will engage in high-level meetings with his Thai counterparts, including the Ministers of Labour, Tourism, and the Acting Foreign Minister. These discussions aim to bolster bilateral relations, with a particular focus on enhancing labor mobility, migration management, and tourism development.
