Suvarnabhumi Airport officials have formally refuted claims that personnel tampered with a traveler's suitcase. The controversy emerged after a passenger shared concerns on the “Benz pa pai Journey” Facebook page regarding potential unauthorized searches of checked items. The individual had been traveling on Hainan Airlines flight HU424 from Bangkok to Chongqing on October 19. In response to the public allegation, airport management conducted a comprehensive investigation, which included analyzing security logs, operational records, and surveillance video. According to the official statement, the automated screening system identified no suspicious or prohibited contents that would have necessitated a manual inspection. Consequently, the luggage was processed through standard automated procedures without intervention. The airport concluded that there is no evidence to support the claim that staff members accessed the passenger's belongings.
