Taiwanese badminton players earned two silver medals during the BWF Super 500 Arctic Open held in Vantaa, Finland. In the women's doubles category, Hsu Yin-hui and Lin Jhih-yun were defeated by China's Chen Fan Shutian and Luo Xumin in straight games, with scores of 21-18 and 21-19. The Taiwanese pair noted difficulty in overcoming their opponents' defensive strategies during the match. This result marks their third runner-up finish in a Super 500 tournament since they began competing together in 2023. Meanwhile, in the men's doubles final, the young Taiwanese duo of Lai Po-yu and Tsai Fu-cheng also finished in second place. They were narrowly beaten by Malaysia's Aaron Tai and Yap Roy King, with both games ending in 21-19 scores.
