The list reportedly features Vorapak Tanyawong, a former deputy finance minister who held office during a previous administration involving Anutin. While acknowledging the inclusion of the former official, the Prime Minister emphasized that the allegations are unrelated to his current government. He advised those named in the reports to pursue legal representation to address the claims and verify the facts. When questioned regarding a US request for the Thai government to accelerate investigations into these individuals, Anutin clarified that the current administration is not the one being addressed by such demands, maintaining a clear separation between his cabinet and the individuals under scrutiny.
