On Saturday, families, labor groups, and opposition figures gathered to observe the eleventh anniversary of the 2015 Ankara train station bombing. This tragic event, which remains the deadliest terror attack in Turkish history, occurred during a peace rally and resulted in 104 fatalities with over 500 individuals wounded. The Islamic State was identified as the perpetrator behind the twin suicide blasts. Participants marched from Ulus metro station to the site of the tragedy, holding a moment of silence at 10:04 a.m. to honor the victims. During the commemoration, legal representatives reiterated their calls for greater accountability, specifically requesting the prosecution of relevant public officials, the unsealing of restricted case files, and the apprehension of suspects who remain at large. Prominent political figures, including Özgür Özel and Tülay Hatimoğulları, were present to support the families and demand justice for those affected.
