The United Arab Emirates has confirmed an increase in fuel prices effective from October 1, 2026. This adjustment follows a trend of rising costs across all fuel categories, mirroring the recent upward movement in global crude oil markets, which reached approximately $107 per barrel by late September. These monthly price revisions are calculated by the Ministry of Energy by factoring in international oil market fluctuations alongside local operational expenses for distribution firms. This latest hike continues a pattern of volatility seen throughout the year, with prices showing consistent increases over the last two months following a brief dip in July. Motorists in the country will face higher expenses at the pump, with the cost of a full tank varying based on vehicle specifications.
