US Ambassador Sean K. O’Neill recently led the 'Freedom 250' event in Nakhon Ratchasima, marking the 250th anniversary of American independence. The three-day fair, held at Mayfair Market, featured cultural displays, music, and food alongside a focus on economic and educational cooperation. The initiative brought together American businesses, government agencies, and universities to engage with local Thai leaders and the community. Beyond the festivities, the event served as a platform to promote bilateral collaboration in technology, agriculture, and innovation. Ambassador O’Neill emphasized the importance of the long-standing relationship between the two nations and expressed solidarity with Thailand regarding recent flooding challenges. This Korat gathering is part of a broader four-region campaign across Thailand, following an initial event in Hat Yai, with upcoming stops scheduled for Chiang Mai and Bangkok to further enhance commercial and cultural partnerships.
