Transportation services have officially resumed on the Kaligandaki Corridor following the successful removal of debris caused by recent heavy rainfall. Landslides had previously blocked the Harmichaur–Arbeni–Purtighat segment, creating significant obstacles for commuters traveling toward major hubs such as Pokhara, Butwal, Palpa, Baglung, and Tamghas. According to the District Police Office in Gulmi, local authorities and the Road Division Office in Palpa utilized heavy machinery, including excavators and bulldozers, to clear mud and large rocks from the affected route. The road, which experienced blockages stretching from Rudrabeni to the Harmichaur area, was reopened on Wednesday evening. This restoration of access provides relief to travelers who were previously unable to navigate the corridor due to the accumulation of sludge and debris along the roadway.
