Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly suggested a high-level meeting next month involving US President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping. According to reports citing individuals familiar with the matter, the objective of this proposed summit is to negotiate a resolution to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine that aligns with Moscow's interests. This diplomatic initiative follows a recent telephone conversation between Putin and Trump on October 9. The dialogue between the two leaders also reportedly resulted in an agreement for the United States to purchase Russian diesel. Furthermore, the US administration recently issued an executive order lifting specific sanctions previously imposed on Russia. While the White House has not yet provided an official statement regarding these reports, the proposal marks a significant development in international relations following the recent shifts in US-Russia trade policies.
