The upcoming espionage-themed title Physint, created by renowned game designer Hideo Kojima, has secured a new publishing partner in Xbox. This development follows a surprise decision by PlayStation Studios in mid-June to terminate their involvement with the project. In the three months that followed the cancellation, Kojima Productions actively sought a new collaborator to bring the game to market. This move strengthens the ongoing partnership between Kojima and Microsoft, as the studio is already collaborating with the tech giant on the horror title OD. Kojima, widely celebrated for his contributions to the stealth genre through the Metal Gear franchise, maintains a significant industry presence despite the unexpected shift in his professional relationship with Sony.
