A delegation from the Asian Development Bank recently met with officials to examine the current state and future development of Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical industry. The discussions focused on enhancing product quality, upgrading scientific and educational infrastructure, and aligning local inspection systems with international benchmarks. A primary topic of the dialogue was Uzbekistan's ongoing efforts to join the Pharmaceutical Inspection Co-operation Scheme. ADB representatives acknowledged the effectiveness of the reforms implemented thus far and signaled their intent to support future collaborative projects. Both parties expressed a commitment to deepening their partnership, with the shared goal of establishing Uzbekistan as a significant pharmaceutical hub within the region through continued knowledge exchange and strategic investment.
