State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir stated that Bangladesh will not participate in the upcoming BRICS Summit. He clarified that the Prime Minister did not receive an official invitation to attend the event. According to the minister, the invitation was directed toward the chair of BIMSTEC rather than the Bangladeshi government directly. Consequently, there is no current opportunity for the nation to send a representative to the gathering. The minister emphasized that without a formal invitation extended to the country's leadership, attendance remains impossible.
