Cryptocurrency platform Binance announced on Saturday that it has successfully recovered 90 percent of the assets lost during a significant security breach valued at $6.3 billion. To address the financial impact, the exchange utilized resources from its Secure Asset Fund for Users, its Futures insurance pool, and internal corporate capital. The remaining 10 percent of the stolen assets involve tokens with lower liquidity, which complicates the recovery process. Binance has encouraged its users to verify the status of the primary insurance funds through its official website. Furthermore, the company stated that it anticipates restoring withdrawal capabilities for its clients by November 1, with additional information regarding the resumption of services to be provided in the near future.
