Effective October 1, the cost of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders has risen across India, with increases ranging from ₹62.50 to over ₹70 depending on the location. In Delhi, the rate reached ₹2,810, while Patna saw the steepest hike among major cities. This adjustment, attributed to global energy supply volatility linked to the conflict in West Asia, primarily affects the hospitality and restaurant sectors. Domestic cooking gas prices remain unchanged. Simultaneously, aviation turbine fuel prices for domestic carriers have been raised to ₹137 per litre. These monthly revisions are determined by international benchmark rates and currency fluctuations. While commercial LPG costs have fluctuated significantly throughout the year, current adjustments reflect the ongoing impact of global market conditions on local fuel pricing.
