The number of fatalities resulting from landslides in Baglung, Nepal, has risen to thirteen after rescue teams located the remains of a missing woman on Wednesday. The victim, identified as 53-year-old Punasara BK from Tamankhola Rural Municipality-4, had been unaccounted for since the disaster struck on September 27. Heavy rainfall between September 25 and 27 triggered multiple landslides across the region, burying several homes. According to District Police Office Superintendent Phanindra Prasai, the casualties are distributed across three municipalities: five deaths in Nisikhola, five in Tamankhola, and three in Tarakhola. Recovery efforts concluded following the discovery of the final missing individual.
