Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla has publicly identified eleven individuals suspected of involvement in the smuggling of 521 kilograms of shabu originating from Laos. Among those named is Edriezan Hadji Nasser Rimbang, a politician from Mindanao, along with his wife, Rohanjah Rimbang, who previously served in the Bangsamoro Parliament. Remulla stated that these findings are the result of a thorough investigation conducted alongside the Philippine National Police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency. He emphasized that the information was gathered through verified documentation and cooperation with regional partners in Southeast Asia, rather than speculation. The government maintains that this identification process is based on concrete evidence collected during their ongoing inquiry into the illicit drug shipment.
