The Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM) has officially sanctioned three former consultants for violating its Consolidated Rules and ethical standards. Among those penalized is Mohd Nur Aliff Hasroni, a former representative of Malayan Banking Bhd, who was barred for three years starting August 2026. He was found guilty of forging investor signatures and failing to adequately disclose the terms and fees associated with a bundled sukuk investment product. Furthermore, the regulatory body publicly reprimanded Nor Azlina Omar, a former consultant at Principal Asset Management Bhd, for submitting fraudulent documents. These disciplinary actions reflect FIMM's commitment to maintaining professional integrity within the unit trust and private retirement scheme sectors. The organization continues to enforce strict compliance protocols to protect investors from financial misconduct and ensure transparency in the management of investment funds.
