Former Senator Bong Revilla has formally requested that the Sandiganbayan Third Division drop the malversation charges filed against him. The legal case involves allegations regarding a ghost project located in Bulacan, which reportedly amounted to over P92 million. According to Dennis Pulma, the division’s clerk of court, the motion was submitted on Wednesday. Revilla’s legal team filed a motion for leave along with an attached demurrer to evidence, aiming to challenge the sufficiency of the prosecution's case. This move represents a significant step in the ongoing judicial proceedings concerning the alleged misuse of public funds associated with the former legislator.
