The International Fire Safety & Rescue Vietnam – Secutech Vietnam 2026 exhibition has commenced in Hanoi, drawing participants from 16 countries and territories. Major General Duong Duc Hai emphasized the event's importance during the opening ceremony, noting its role in showcasing modern equipment and security solutions. The exhibition addresses the growing challenges posed by fire risks in high-rise buildings, electric vehicles, and lithium-ion batteries. Recent statistics highlight the urgency of these efforts, with over 5,300 fire and explosion incidents reported in Vietnam since 2025, resulting in 164 fatalities and significant financial losses. Beyond product displays, the event includes international seminars and forums designed to foster dialogue between the government and the private sector regarding advancements in fire prevention and rescue technologies.
