The M+ museum in Hong Kong has entered into a formal cultural partnership with the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. This agreement, finalized on October 30 at the West Kowloon Cultural District, seeks to transform international standards for the collection and exhibition of visual arts. Unlike traditional models that rely on temporary traveling exhibits or paid satellite branches, this initiative emphasizes a non-commercial exchange of resources. By avoiding financial transactions between the three institutions, the alliance aims to foster a long-term collaborative framework for sharing expertise and artistic assets globally, moving away from conventional museum loan practices.
