The Indian pharmaceutical enterprise USV Pharma has pledged 1.5 million rupees to support individuals impacted by the recent Bhotekoshi-Trishuli flooding. This financial contribution was channeled through the Nepal Medical Association’s ongoing relief initiative. During a formal event held in Kathmandu on Thursday, the association’s president, Dr. Badri Rijal, and USV’s Chief Business Officer, Mahidwaj Sisodia, finalized a cooperation agreement. According to Dr. Rijal, the donated funds are designated for procuring vital resources for impoverished households severely affected by the disaster. The relief package includes essential household goods, bedding, blankets, solar-powered lighting, mobile charging equipment, and sanitation supplies. Furthermore, the association plans to distribute necessary medical items and health-related products to ensure the well-being of the displaced families.
