Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi recently updated the cabinet on a quadrilateral security meeting held in Tehran involving representatives from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Türkiye. The discussions focused on enhancing regional cooperation, maintaining territorial sovereignty, and preventing further escalation of conflicts. Officials expressed concern over Israeli policies, which they argue threaten regional stability and aim to involve external powers in local disputes. Araghchi emphasized that sustainable security should be managed by regional nations without foreign military interference. Furthermore, the minister addressed the intersection of regional stability and global energy security. He warned that any military aggression in the Persian Gulf could severely disrupt international energy markets, highlighting the necessity for diplomatic coordination among gas-producing nations to safeguard global supplies. The minister reaffirmed Iran's commitment to prioritizing neighborly relations to foster collective peace and security.
