During a parliamentary session on Wednesday, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf declared that Iran remains steadfast against what he described as excessive American demands. The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament argued that Washington's ongoing hostility is a direct reaction to the country's refusal to align with its expansionist objectives. Ghalibaf asserted that Iran’s pursuit of sovereignty has become a model for other nations, leaving both the United States and Israel in a state of frustration. He characterized the current geopolitical situation as one where Iran has provided a logical and firm response, placing the responsibility for future developments on Washington. According to the official, the United States has transitioned from using puppet regimes to employing military, economic, and cognitive warfare tactics to undermine Iran. However, he maintained that these efforts have failed to break the resolve of the Iranian people, signaling that the period of yielding to external pressure has concluded.
