Jamaat-i-Islami leader Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has announced a one-day delay for the party's planned long march toward Islamabad. Currently marking the 26th day of a sit-in protest near the Punjab Assembly, Rehman stated that the government has received ample opportunity to address their grievances. He cautioned that if the administration fails to provide relief, the party is prepared to initiate a nationwide protest movement aimed at ousting the government. To determine the next steps, the party's central leadership will convene at Mansoora on Friday afternoon. The official date for the march will be formally disclosed to the public during a rally scheduled in Gujranwala later that same day.
