The Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital, Aspetar, is spearheading the healthcare efforts for Qatar’s representatives at the upcoming Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games in Japan. A specialized group of 28 professionals, including physicians, physiotherapists, and massage therapists, will manage the medical needs of the 427-member Qatari delegation. Led by Dr. Adnan Saltani, the team will maintain a clinic within the athletes' village and provide on-site support at various competition venues. This initiative aims to ensure the well-being of the 243 athletes participating in 32 different disciplines throughout the event, which is scheduled to take place from September 19 to October 4, 2026.
