Authorities in Iskandar Puteri have detained two men, aged 26 and 27, in connection with a series of 11 criminal incidents, including robbery, theft, and residential break-ins. The suspects, who had previously served time for drug and criminal charges, were apprehended on September 5 in the Tanjung Kupang and Kangkar Pulai regions. Police action followed a report filed on September 4 concerning a burglary at Forest City Starview in Gelang Patah. According to acting police chief Superintendent Saifullah Jaya @ Yahaya, the individuals were released from Kedah's Pokok Sena Prison in 2023. They had relocated to Johor for factory employment earlier this year but reportedly turned to criminal activity after losing their jobs in March.
