The Nepali film industry saw four sequels debut during the Dashain festival, yet overall ticket sales failed to meet initial projections. The lineup featured 'Aa Bata Aama 2', 'Chha Maya Chhapakkai 2', '12 Gaun 2', and the fifth entry in the 'Kabaddi' series. While all four films were follow-ups to previously successful projects, the market response has been largely underwhelming. 'Kabaddi: After the Final Match' emerged as the top performer, securing a higher number of screenings compared to its competitors. Data from the Film Development Board indicates that this latest installment has generated over 107 million rupees in revenue within its first ten days of release, effectively outpacing the other three films in the holiday box office race.
