Kazakhstan’s Minister of Education, Zhuldyz Suleimenova, announced that the government is developing a new format for school textbooks incorporating artificial intelligence. This initiative aims to address widespread concerns from parents regarding the inconsistent quality, physical durability, and lack of standardized formatting in current educational materials. A pilot program is currently underway in 40 schools, which consolidates various textbooks onto a single digital platform. During a recent government briefing, the minister confirmed that these efforts also include revising existing editions to rectify numerous errors. The ministry expects to present the results of this pilot project between November and January. By leveraging AI technology, officials hope to modernize the educational experience and provide students with more reliable and cohesive learning resources.
