The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration has issued a weather advisory indicating that a low pressure area and the Intertropical Convergence Zone will trigger scattered rainfall and thunderstorms. These conditions are expected to impact Metro Manila, along with regions in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. As of early Saturday, the low pressure system was situated 410 kilometers east of Catarman, Northern Samar. Meteorologists have assessed that the system currently has a minimal probability of intensifying into a tropical cyclone within the coming day. Officials noted that the weather disturbance might traverse land areas, which could potentially lead to its dissipation. Residents in Calabarzon, Bicol, and Mimaropa should prepare for cloudy skies and intermittent precipitation throughout the day.
