A collaborative film project titled Golden Blessings is currently under production in Port Dickson, Malaysia. The movie, which features a cast of actors from both Malaysia and Hong Kong, is being filmed at the Grand Lexis and Lexis Hibiscus hotels. Directed by Mak Ho Pong, known for his work on Never a Thief, the project is written and produced by Edmond Wong, the creator of the Ip Man series. The narrative blends elements of romance, comedy, family drama, and adventure, focusing on a diverse group of individuals brought together by chance. The film is slated for a theatrical release during the Chinese New Year period in February 2027. Production is currently entering its third week, with the majority of the story set within the hotel environment.
