Malaysian police have apprehended a second pilot as part of an expanding investigation into a major drug trafficking operation. This follows the earlier arrest of a Malaysia Airlines pilot in Indonesia, who is accused of attempting to smuggle ecstasy pills valued at approximately 45 million ringgit. According to Commissioner Hussein Omar Khan, the director of the Bukit Aman Narcotics Crime Investigation Department, the most recent suspect was taken into custody in the Klang Valley region two days ago. Investigators believe this individual played a significant role in managing the financial gains generated from the illicit drug sales. The case remains active as authorities continue to probe the extent of the smuggling network and the involvement of aviation personnel in the distribution of narcotics.
