A driver in Thailand’s Pathum Thani province made a grim discovery on Monday afternoon when he spotted what he initially thought was a discarded doll in a grassy area beside a dirt road. Upon closer inspection, the 51-year-old motorist realized the object was actually the body of a newborn infant. Emergency services were alerted to the scene at approximately 6:30 pm. Preliminary assessments by authorities suggest the child had been deceased for several days due to signs of decomposition. Local police have launched an official investigation into the incident and are currently working to identify and locate the mother of the deceased infant. The discovery occurred while the man was traveling to collect his son for a trip to a local market.
