Nepal advanced to the ACC Premier Cup final in Malaysia following a decisive 87-run victory against Oman. After being sent in to bat first, the Nepali side struggled early on, losing four wickets for only 36 runs. However, a crucial 93-run partnership between Dipendra Singh Airee, who scored 51, and Basir Ahamad, who contributed 47, helped the team reach a total of 147 runs before being bowled out in 45.4 overs. Oman’s Jay Odedra performed well with the ball, claiming three wickets. In response, Nepal's spin bowlers dominated the second innings, dismantling the Omani batting lineup for just 60 runs in 28.1 overs.
