The Nepali Army has entered into a formal contract with the state-owned Dairy Development Corporation to provide dairy products to military barracks across 32 districts. This agreement ensures a consistent supply of essential food items, including over 10,000 litres of processed milk daily. Beyond liquid milk, the arrangement includes the annual delivery of approximately 133,500 kilograms of curd, 13,200 kilograms of paneer, 7,400 kilograms of whole milk powder, and 5,200 kilograms of cheese. Brigadier General Sanjay Kumar Ranjit finalized the deal on behalf of the military, establishing a structured supply chain for these goods. This partnership aims to streamline the procurement of dairy commodities for personnel stationed throughout the nation, leveraging the state-run corporation's infrastructure to meet the military's daily nutritional requirements.
