Senior leadership of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party convened at the Chief Minister's House to discuss the current national political climate and the progression of their ongoing long march. During the session, chaired by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi, officials confirmed that the protest movement will continue as planned. Simultaneously, the party leadership indicated a willingness to engage in negotiations with the federal government. The meeting also addressed concerns regarding potential government actions, specifically the possibility of implementing emergency measures or Governor's Rule in the province. Party representatives characterized such potential interventions as unconstitutional. Key figures in attendance included Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Salman Akram Raja, Junaid Akbar Khan, Shahid Khattak, and Shafi Jan, who collectively reviewed the party's strategic approach to the current political standoff.
