Pakistani security personnel successfully eliminated eighteen militants during targeted military actions across the provinces of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. According to reports from state media, thirteen individuals associated with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, referred to by the government as Fitna al-Khawarij, were killed during an intelligence-led mission in North Waziristan. Additional operations targeted groups labeled as Fitna al-Hindustan, a designation the federal government applies to outfits it claims are supported by India to conduct proxy activities in Balochistan. These military engagements are part of the ongoing Azm-e-Istehkam initiative, which aims to suppress militant activity throughout the country. Authorities confirmed that operations against these armed factions remain active as part of the state's broader security strategy.
