Parkonic has introduced a new digital parking management system at Wafi Mall and Wafi City in Dubai, eliminating the requirement for physical tickets. Upon entry, vehicle license plates are scanned to initiate the session. Visitors can settle parking charges by scanning QR codes located at the site or via payment stations. If payment is not processed manually, the system automatically deducts the fee from the motorist's Salik account upon exit. Parking charges are effective from Monday to Friday, with the first three hours provided free of charge. Subsequent hours are billed at Dh15 for the third to fourth hour, with an additional Dh10 for every following hour or fraction thereof. Parking remains free of charge on weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays, as well as during designated public holidays.
