A parliamentary subcommittee in Nepal has initiated an investigation into the procurement of uniforms for the Nepal Police, the Armed Police Force, and election personnel. During a meeting held on Thursday, the committee established an internal procedural framework and set a deadline of November 16 to conclude its preliminary assessment. Officials confirmed that both the Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force have submitted a substantial volume of documentation for review. These records, which were delivered to the committee's secretariat, address public concerns regarding the acquisition process. The uniforms in question were originally purchased by the Nepal Police in January of the previous year. Committee members are currently evaluating the provided materials to determine the extent of their findings before the mid-November target date.
