Data released by the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism indicates a robust performance in the nation's international trade sector. During the initial eight months of 2025, Peru's exports to fellow APEC member countries reached a total value of 36.9 billion dollars. This figure represents a notable year-on-year increase of 19.5 percent. The primary markets driving this commercial expansion include China, the United States, and Canada. These trade flows, which encompass various commodities including agricultural products like specialty coffee and mineral resources, highlight the importance of Pacific-rim logistics and port infrastructure in connecting Peruvian goods to global consumers.
