The Philippine Pharma Procurement Inc. (PPI) and the Social Security System (SSS) officially inaugurated the Pambansang Botika Plus initiative at the SSS Diliman branch in Quezon City on September 29. According to PPI President and CEO Maria Blanca Kim Lokin, the program functions as a centralized hub offering both healthcare services and low-cost medication. To improve accessibility, the project includes a mobile delivery network developed in collaboration with local government units, aiming to reach residents who face challenges visiting physical pharmacy locations. This initiative represents a collaborative effort involving PhilHealth, private medical providers, pharmaceutical companies, and the SSS to enhance the distribution of essential health supplies. Presidential Adviser for Poverty Alleviation Larry Gadon attended the launch event as the guest speaker.
