The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) discovered a motorcycle in the Mazar Basti area of Tongi, located approximately 50 yards from where the body of 28-year-old former Air Force officer KM Tahsif Sauri was found in the Turag River. Authorities are currently verifying if the vehicle belonged to the deceased. Investigators noted that the nearby Rajbari Ghat is frequently associated with narcotics activity, leading to a theory that Sauri may have accidentally drowned while attempting to escape drug dealers. CCTV recordings captured the former officer with an individual identified by his family as a friend named Dwip shortly before he disappeared. PBI officials are continuing their inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death and the ownership of the recovered motorcycle.
