During the third session of the Artificial Intelligence Development Council held at the Akorda, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highlighted the necessity of integrating advanced digital technologies into the nation's industrial framework. Citing the 2026 UN Industrial Development Report, the President identified artificial intelligence as a primary global economic driver. He noted that the significant rise in AI-related patent filings over the last five years signals a major technological transition. Tokayev emphasized that national competitiveness now depends on the ability to enhance production efficiency through rapid digital adoption rather than relying solely on traditional resources or capital. Consequently, he urged the country to proactively leverage these technological advancements to secure a stronger position in the evolving global market.
