During a weekly press briefing, Ministry of Foreign Affairs official Ibrahim bin Sultan al-Hashmi stated that the nation is actively collaborating with regional and international partners to foster consensus regarding the Strait of Hormuz. He emphasized that the primary objective for all involved stakeholders should be the achievement of a comprehensive resolution to the current tensions. Furthermore, the official highlighted that the unimpeded flow of global trade through this waterway is essential and warned against the normalization of any potential maritime closures. Qatar continues to prioritize dialogue as the most effective path toward stabilizing the area and ensuring the safety of international shipping lanes.
