During 2025, public school health initiatives in Qatar documented 492,231 student interactions, with the vast majority occurring directly on campus. Managed by the Primary Health Care Corporation in collaboration with national education and health ministries, the program emphasizes preventive measures, early diagnosis, and digital health integration. On-site clinics, operated by qualified nursing staff connected to local health centers, deliver essential primary care, emergency assistance, and first aid. Furthermore, these services support students managing chronic illnesses like asthma, diabetes, and severe allergies. Beyond immediate medical attention, the initiative encompasses comprehensive health screenings, including vision tests, growth assessments, and routine immunization schedules for children in government-run schools and kindergartens.
