Rastriya Swatantra Party leader Rabi Lamichhane has publicly supported the government's handling of the recent Rasuwa floods. During a parliamentary session, he stated that state authorities acted promptly by deploying significant security forces to manage rescue, medical treatment, and relief efforts immediately following the disaster. Lamichhane emphasized that the current crisis should transcend partisan politics between the ruling coalition and the opposition. Furthermore, he addressed the public outcry from affected citizens, advising both the government and his own party members to remain patient. He characterized the anger expressed by flood survivors not as hostility, but as a profound manifestation of grief and a desperate plea for assistance during a difficult time.
